What Shipping Carrier Do You Use?

We offer complimentary FedEx (or UPS) 2 Day Shipping. Orders can only be delivered within the United States and cannot be delivered to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes. If you entered a P.O. box as your delivery address, we will contact you for an alternative address. Please note any changes to your shipping address may delay delivery.

Will my items be safe in transit and delivery?

We insure all packages against theft and accidental damage while in transit. All orders require signature upon delivery. Once the package is delivered and signed for, we are no longer liable. Each piece of our jewelry is handmade and subject to an intensive quality control process before it is sent to you. We encourage you to inspect each package immediately upon receipt. Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?

Sales tax will be automatically applied to your order based on applicable state and local sales tax laws and shipping destination. The terms contained herein are subject to change as taxation regulations continue to evolve. We monitor state and local tax laws to ensure compliance. Customer shall be responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding payment of all use taxes, duties and other taxes and the declaration of goods in their state or country of residence. Your purchase may be subject to use tax unless it’s specifically exempt from taxation. For any purchase which does not collect sales tax, your state may require you to report such purchase and remit tax on a sales, use or individual income tax return. Forms and corresponding instructions may be found on your state website.

I Am Unsure of My Ring Size, How Do Your Rings Fit?

All of our rings fit true to North American sizing. We recommend having yourself sized in person at a local jewelry store, or ordering an affordable finger sizing kit like this one. We do not recommend trying to size your finger from a string or paper from an online template. Note that we do offer quarter sizes and sizes not displayed in our product pages — don’t hesitate to reach out if you do not see your size listed online.

Can a Piece Be Customized?

Yes. Whenever possible we are happy to offer customization. Some examples include engraving, ordering a different color metal (rose or white gold) or changing the length of a chain. Some pieces are more challenging to customize but please reach out with any requests!

Where Do You Get Your Materials?

We make jewelry with integrity. ARK is a female-owned small business operating from Los Angeles, where all of our jewelry is produced and designed. The collection is crafted by a small team of skilled artisans who take pride in their work. In the studio, we recycle as much gold as possible. For non-recycled metal, our caster works exclusively with fair trade, fair mined gold. We work with extremely reputable diamond and gemstone dealers both locally and abroad. Our melee (accent diamonds) are conflict-free and consistently sourced from a single supplier. Diamonds over 0.5ct are individually selected and will be sold with a GIA certificate. Colored stones and the rough stone for our inlay are hand selected on a piece by piece basis.

How Do I Care For My ARK Jewelry?

When not being worn, we recommend jewelry be stored in its pouch.  It does not like bleach, household cleansers, hard surfaces, or rough and tumble activities. Please note that ultrasonic cleaning is too aggressive for most gemstones. We recommend professional cleanings annually.

What Is Your Return Policy?

Since each and every piece of jewelry is made to order, we do not accept returns. Our number one priority is that you love your new jewelry. If you are unsure about any aspect of a piece, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to info@arkfinejewelry. We are always happy to send additional photos and details, or talk through a particular piece over the phone prior to purchasing.
